Project PETE
Five days of Post-Exam Training and Evangelism.
Pre-term
Pre-term is our main Freshers Event. It is a day for people interested to find out why we exist as a Christian Union and what we do. It is also a great opportunity to meet existing members of the CU and other Christian Freshers.
Church tour
At the beginning of the (academic) year we organise a tour of the main local student churches to help Freshers find them and take advantage of the student lunches and dinners that many of the churches offer!
The next church tour will begin in September 2008.
Houseparty
Houseparty is potentially the best weekend of the CU year! Everyone in the CU is welcome to join us in the countryside of Shropshire for a weekend of teaching, worship, prayer, discussion groups, free time and lots of fun! It is a great chance to chill out and get to know people, have a laugh, as well as receive great teaching and worship God.
Carol Concert
The Carol Concert is the biggest single event that BUECU holds each year. In December 2007, over 1000 people packed the Great Hall to sing Christmas carols and hear a talk on our need for a Rescuer - Jesus Christ.
